Quick Heat-And-Eat Dinners

So beauties and cuties, we know that I don’t tell anyone what to eat or how much to eat or any of that nonsense.

It’s well known that I advocate learning your body’s actual hunger cues while continuing to eat the way you’re currently eating, then adjusting and tweaking over weeks and months as you go along.

The key is to make the changes so subtle and gradual that you barely notice. And when you do that, the changes stay permanent.

If you’d like to learn more about it, you can get my free guide by emailing me at dana@revolution-within.com.

I’m not much of a cook and am certainly not a food blogger, but I’ve had requests for some tips on how I make quick dinners (we’re talking 10 minutes or less) a bit healthier and more filling. So here goes.

I currently do most of my grocery shopping at Trader Joes. Here are four options that I rotate often, with add-ins (all found in the frozen section):

⬆️ Korean sweet potato glass noodles - stir fry in sesame oil, add in chicken or salmon, water chestnuts, spinach, broccoli

⬆️ Green Chile chicken bowl - add roasted zucchini and guacamole

⬆️ Mac & cheese - add tuna fish and broccoli OR bacon and broccoli

⬆️ Chicken burrito bowl - add whatever veggie you like and guacamole

TJs also has precooked chicken which saves so much time preparing dinner. As for the add-in veggies, I typically roast a sheet of broccoli or zucchini tossed in olive oil, salt, and pepper at 400 degrees for 15 minutes and have enough for the week from that.

Of course, edit the add-ins to your tastes. (If you hate tuna, then don’t use it.)

That’s my quick and dirty entry for the week. As always, feel free to email me at dana@revolution-within.com with any questions, comments, or just to say hi. :)

Love & hugs,

Dana
